Decked Pontoons or Fixed Jetties

Our commitment to versatile waterfront solutions extends to fixed jetties and decked pontoons. Fixed jetties, supported by a timber, steel, or composite framework driven into the ground, are meticulously designed to your exact specifications, offering complete flexibility in shape and size. These jetties are the ideal choice for locations with minimal water level fluctuations and can be tailored to provide a very low freeboard when needed.

You have a wide range of deck coverings to choose from based on your intended use and aesthetic preferences. Among the most popular options are Hardwood, Composite Decking, and Fiberglass grating, allowing you to create a visually appealing and functional platform.

For a more attractive pontoon that combines aesthetics with durability, we utilize our RotoDock Pontoon System to provide buoyancy. This approach marries the stability and robustness of RotoDock with the aesthetic appeal required in specific locations. Specially designed galvanized brackets secure a wooden framework to the RotoDock units, providing the necessary support for the deck covering. This design also allows us to extend the decking down the sides of the RotoDock units to the waterline.

We offer various decking options to suit your budget and requirements:

  • Pressure Treated Softwood: A cost-effective option, though it may degrade relatively quickly in a marine environment and become slippery.

  • Hardwood: Selecting a hardwood with a high oil content helps prevent deterioration and makes it more resistant to algae growth, reducing slipperiness.

  • Budget Synthetic: For a similar price to hardwood decking, you can opt for budget synthetic deck boards. These offer longevity, slip resistance, and extended service life compared to timber.

  • Premium Synthetic: The top-of-the-line synthetic decks closely resemble real wood but outlast timber and maintain slip resistance. With numerous styles and colors available, you can create a fully customized deck that stands the test of time."
